Porchlight Accounting Services was started from the need to break free from the typical public accounting firm model. After our owner managed and developed accounting departments in multiple agencies, she knew there was a better way. Far too often she witnessed the all mighty dollar take over the firm’s decisions and it was something she could no longer support. No one wants to be a number in a large cog. It is time to go back to what’s important, our clients.

Clients need to be understood and heard. When a client makes a decision to engage a financial partner, they are creating the ultimate trust relationship. We spend a significant amount of time understanding our client’s business and how they work. That is the only way to create a true and long-lasting relationship. We expect nothing less from ourselves.

Our owner has 20+ years in the accounting industry in both public and private settings. Our staff our not just bookkeepers, they are experienced and educated accountants who can support our client’s every need. We value empathy, integrity and honesty above all else. We are not perfect, but we will always be upfront and honest with our clients and strive for the mountaintop called “perfection.”
